Materials that survive the environment

Sour service, chlorides, high temperature and 700-bar pressure narrow the material list quickly. We machine duplex 2205, super duplex 2507, Inconel 625 and 718, Monel, 17-4PH and F51/F55 forgings, with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant material where the specification calls for it.

These are difficult materials. Work hardening, poor thermal conductivity and abrasive inclusions all shorten tool life, and cutting data has to be right the first time. Our process sheets for each alloy family are built from real production data, not catalogue starting points.

Pressure integrity

Bodies and closures are hydrostatically tested to 1.5× working pressure with the test record supplied. Sealing surfaces are ground or lapped and inspected for scratches under magnification, because a 0.02 mm defect across an O-ring groove is a leak path.

Weld and NDT support

Welding to ASME IX qualified procedures, with radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and dye penetrant inspection through accredited partners. PMI verification confirms the alloy actually delivered matches the alloy specified.

Documentation for certification

EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2 material certificates, hydrostatic test reports, NDT reports, heat treatment records and dimensional reports, compiled into a manufacturing data book where your end client requires one.
